They Both Die at the End - Adam Silvera

Conclusion: It's good, but...

Guys, it's in the title. It's literally in the title. Don't go into this thinking it can't possibly be that bad. Don't be a moron. Don't be me.

The frustrating thing is that this book is lovely. So, so, so lovely. Everything that happens is meaningful and relates back to the character and plot in interesting, subtle and beautiful ways. It's a masterpiece. It just needs a Not Suitable for People with Depression warning. Or maybe not BECAUSE THE TITLE LITERALLY TELLS YOU THAT.

Gah.

- Alana

Note: Liss did not read this book because of the title. And she's happy with her choice.

Books It Reminds Us Of:

The book takes place all in one day, much like The Sun Is Also a Star, or Release. Both of these fall into the Worth It category, if you are looking for something like that.

This is the only Adam Silvera book I've read, but I'm betting I would like his other stuff. His newest book is on my reading list: What If It's Us.
